Project 61
NEW COVENANT has many outreach ministries that are aimed toward reaching the community. PROJECT 61 serves as the parent ministry for our various OUTREACH AVENUES. Our goal is to be a valued and effective community partner that REACHES OUT into the community, the schools, the prisons, the streets, etc. to be the hands and feet of Christ. Check out some of our outreach ministries below! Proverbs 11:25 states, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”
GODHELPERS
GODHELPERS are a group of ''servants." dedicated to serve in the capacity with an excellent spirit of preparing meals for the homeless every Monday (or as required ).
We open up with prayer as we begin our day. Christ is the head of everything we do. We work together in unity and love planning our menu's believing God to give us the knowledge in preparing a delicious, appetizing and tasty meal for His people, not only physically but spiritually too.
We feed up to 100-120 people on Mondays and the numbers are increasing. We also discuss and strategize plans on how to enhance new ideas for better and efficient work in the ministry. Communication is key!
NURSING HOME
It is a tremendous blessing to encourage and challenge senior adults to embrace the fulfilled life God intends for them. Our goal each week is to support their spiritual vitality by helping them live the dynamic, Spirit-filled life that expresses the love of Christ.
PRISON
This ministry provides our congregation an incredible opportunity to impart God’s eternal truth and love to souls that many have abandoned and forgotten. From this, we are hearing amazing testimonies of God’s love and power!
